Waterproof's D7 concept has been around for many years. The former D7 Pro has done its job and the time was for an upgrade. Here is the D7X Cordura an extremely hardy and durable trilaminate dry suit, designed for use in tough and cold environments. The suit is equipped with a front zipper and telescopic torso, just like many other recognized and proven dry suits.
Since the Waterproof's early introduction of the original D7, the suit was the primary choice for advanced and technical divers. Although the original suit was a modern and well-functioning dry suit, Waterproof's development department chose to give the suit a proper upgrade. The latest developments in materials and polymer science have made it possible to perfect the original D7 concept. Overall, the suit has been changed to make diving in challenging and demanding environments more comfortable and effortless. In addition, the suit has been given a slimmer fit, resulting in a less bulky dry suit. The waterproof YKK metal slanted zipper is made slightly longer, and moved further up the shoulder to increase movement in the upper body. The zipper is protected by an outer plastic zipper with fabric back.
Wrists and neck openings are equipped with si-tech QCS ring system which supports rapid replacement of silicone cuffs, by the user himself. Similarly, Waterproof's Ultima dry glove system fits directly on to the suit.
On the suit are mounted improved boots, produced using a recently extracted and hardcore-tested rubber blend. In addition, the suit in its entirety, pockets, and wear areas, has been given a well-deserved makeover, making this suit from Waterproof the most modern dry suit on the market.
